Build a Podcast To Support
Your Career / Healthcare Practice

[CASE STUDY GROUP]

If you work in healthcare, you are already having important conversations every day.

With patients.
With colleagues.
With your wider network.

Most of those conversations stay in the room.

This is about turning them into something that continues to support your work.

A 12-week case study group (7 places)

I’m opening a small group for healthcare professionals who want to use podcasting in a more deliberate way.

This may be relevant if you are:

  • Working within the NHS and considering an additional practice

  • Transitioning into private work

  • Running a clinic and looking to strengthen how you communicate

  • Building a community around your expertise

What we will build together

Over 12 weeks, you will build a podcast that reflects how you think and how you work.

The aim is not to produce content for the sake of it.

The aim is to create something that:

  • Helps people understand your approach before they meet you

  • Reduces the need to repeat the same explanations

  • Strengthens relationships with patients, peers, and referrers

  • Gives you a body of work you can continue to use

How we will work

Each week includes:

  • A live session (1 hour, with time for questions)

  • A smaller mastermind-style session

  • Ongoing conversation via private text group between sessions

You will be working alongside a small group, which tends to make the process more grounded and more useful. Everything is recorded, so you can catch up if you’re unable to be on the calls. Your questions still get answered.

Recording and technology

You will record your own episodes.

It keeps your voice, your standards, and your communication aligned with your work.

You do not need advanced equipment or a technical background.

I will suggest simple setups based on your situation, and share tools and workflows that make this straightforward.

Where I have supplier relationships, I will pass on any available discounts.

What you will have access to

  • The updated Profitable-Pod Method (PPM)

  • 32 structured lessons covering planning, production, and follow-up

  • A private group for questions and discussion

  • Recordings of all sessions

  • A 1:1 onboarding session to get clear on your direction

  • A copy of Narrow Podcasting (hard copy and audio)

  • Guidance on equipment and software

The structure we follow

We will move through three phases:

Pre-production

Clarity, positioning, audience, and what the podcast is there to do

Production

Recording episodes in a way that reflects your work and your standards to include optimising what you have if you have already started.

Post-production

Making sure what you create is actually heard and shared everywhere podcasts can be found.

NB: Podcasting ‘on camera’ is optional. This can be audio only if you prefer.

Why this exists

The Profitable-Pod Method was first developed in 2022 alongside my #1 best-selling book ‘Narrow Podcasting’.

Since then, both the tools and the way I use them have changed.

My work has also become more focused on healthcare, where communication tends to carry more weight.

This group is where that updated approach is being built and tested and it’s specific to the UK.

My clients include practice owners in the UK and multi-state oncology organisations in the USA.

Outside of healthcare, I have worked for a number of years with the former directors of NASA (Space) and NOAA (Oceans and Atmospheres).

A note on the format

This is a case study group.

That means:

  • You get access to the latest version of the method

  • I work closely with you

  • Your experience helps shape how this evolves

Why only 7 people

Seven is deliberate.

It allows me to curate the right group of professionals and stay close to the work and give proper attention to each member.
